The Players & Current Standings

THIS PAGE NEEDS THE MOST WORK LOL – TBD

1st: Kloak (Ganondorf, Bowser, Dark Samus/Samus, Ike):
Using Ganon, Kloak has participated in every event so far and has consistently dominated. People in standings fear him as most of his games have been a clean 3-0 sweep, and his only losses have been to Dr. Jello during the very first smash-off. His Ganon is played to perfection with consistent reads on the competition, and uncanny ability to edge guard the competition. On top of showing outstanding results with Ganon, Kloak switched it up during the Jan 11th tournament and showed how dominant his Dark Samus/Samus can be, most notably sweeping King_Kad’s Pokemon Trainer early in the bracket with a clean 3-0 victory.

2nd: Dr. Jello (Little Mac, JigglyPuff):
Dr. Jello is a natural with every character in the games but has struck fear into the competition with his main Little Mac. Go big or go home is the way he likes to roll, and thus far he’s mostly gone big. Dr.Jello was the winner of our very first tournament pushing the bar in a very close set against Kloak. Dr. Jello came out short against Kloak in their follow-up competition; however, still dominated the rest of the bracket. We eagerly anticipate the next clash between the two of them. Dr. Jello has been known to switch off Little Mac to troll the competition with random characters and Jigglypuff after he has already commanded the lead, or sees a large skill gap between him and his opponent; however, despite this he still tends menacingly come out on top.

3rd: King_Kad (Pokemon Trainer, Mewtwo, Joker):
Starting off the first tournament with second last place, King_Kad has crawled his way up to consistently getting third place since then. King_Kad has only been swept (3-0) once, and that was by Kloak during the Jan 11th bracket. King_Kad is known to struggle against zoners but has also been shown to be quite scary with his ledge guarding and air kills. Kind_Kad is best known for his Pokemon Trainer; racking up damage with his Squirtle combos before switching to Ivysaur or Charizard for the kill. King_Kad has been known to bring Joker, and Mewtwo into play when he either has a commanding lead, or is struggling against a match up.

4th: Geo/Kirmani_Bros (Cloud):
Getting third place in the first competition, Geo is a man you cannot sleep on. Utilizing Cloud to win out some intense sets. Geo is known for his aggressive plays keeping the competition away with Clouds projectiles, and punishing an opponent when they get too close with his up special. On top of the intensity of his character, you can also feel the intensity radiate off the player with some huge pop offs after or even in the middle of his sets. Geo is well known for his rivalries with Danman, and Fuzzyhead, having one of the most intense Cloud mirrors with Fuzzyhead during the Jan 11th 2020 competition.

5th: Molio (Zelda, Pikachu, Captain Falcon):
An underrated and under-ranked competitor, Molio has consistently dominated the competition, only losing sets to Dr.Jello, and Kloak. Molio’s Zelda is a deadly competitor, effectively zoning out the competition, and getting some early kills on lighter characters with Zelda’s up-B. Being in a match with Molio, you will get to see some of the most nail-biting matches. Molio showed his full potential by styling hard vs Kind_KaD getting a 3-1 win with some of the best reads and combo’s in the game. Expect to see him climb pretty fast as the first few tournaments had him put in some very difficult brackets, and even then he’s been putting up one hell of a fight.

6th: Fuzzyhead (Zero Suit Samus, Cloud, Bayonetta):
Fuzzyhead ranking in 6th but with huge potential to rise up the ranks. Fuzzyhead has been known to adapt to his opponents very quickly, very often getting an early lead. He has switched around his character a couple of times, starting with Cloud, switching to Zero Suit, and most recently picking up Bayonetta. Fuzzyhead’s biggest weakness unfortunately tends to be himself as very often he will give away the lead through an SD. Fuzzyhead really showed his Cloud prowess during the Jan 11th competition vs Geo in a nail bitting set where everything came down to the last stock last hit, and vs P where he powered through a disrespectful crowd and picked up a (3-1) win. Expect Fuzzyhead to climb much higher as he’s getting much more comfortable in his character selection, and recovery options.

7th: Danman (Zero Suit Samus):
By far the most improved player in these competitions. Danman’s first time playing Smash was during the first tournament, and he has shown nothing but growth since then. We have seen him lose in casual matches time and time again, not once losing sight of the bigger picture, and learning from each set. Danman has a tendency to SD during matches but has reduced the number of times this happens tremendously. Danman is also a god at parrying, and has used this to gain an advantageous position quite often against the higher ranked players. Expect Danman to become a top level player during these competitions in the near future.
